I FINISHED MY HOL HOMEWORK.

Only one day late. Bah.

As again, long time since I posted bleh.

VGL was awesome. Got me interested in oldish games like Pong. Which is super addictive.
- Patapon guy won cosplay competition.
- Pacman Live was total lulz.
- WoW music was epic.
- Snake Eater was epic. And box disguise was lulz.
- Martin Leung playing Mario on piano was pure epic win.
- Space Invaders live was teh lulz. Pity the guy didn't win. Otherwise he'd now have a choice of 5000 classic arcade games to play...
- Sonic and Mario music was amusing.
- Classic game music I didn't recognize, but was fun to watch.
- Chrono Trigger music was so nice @_@
- Guitar Hero faceoff was awesomely cool to watch. Pity they didn't play Through the Fire and Flames though. The guitar is insane.
- One-Winged Angel was awesome, of course.
- Finale was Castlevania. Drake was in total fanboy mode. XD

Pre-concert festival didn't have much, but it was still fun to walk around. Drake and I each got a LED necklace. ^^ We tried one of those classic arcade game machines and failed very epically.

It sure was fun. Hope they bring it here again next year. =)

DISEC = BEST MUN COUNCIL EVER.

- DISEC has received 2 complaints from other councils: ECOFIN, who felt we were too loud, and the Security Council, which we crashed. XD

-DISEC has Ashish Kumar who gives us very insightful lectures about chickens having sex.

- DISEC has one chair who loves Charlie the Unicorn, Ben and Jerry's and YATAAAA!, and another who is...mildly terrifying. XD

- DISEC also has very serious debates about cheese puffs and very serious resolutions about making North Korea watch High School Musical 24/7.

- DISEC has a transsexual named Sally and a coalition of countries collectively known as OSIM-HISEXY. XD

Copied from my Twitter page cos I'm lazy to write lol. You can see what kind of crazy things we did during iMUN.

iMUN organization was pretty crappy, honestly, but being in DISEC more than made up for it. XD And chocolate fondue FTW!

Doubt I'll go for any other MUNs this year. Too hectic. >< I'll wait til next year for THIMUN and RMUN. Those should be total epicness.

Integration test next Thurs. Jap test next Sat. Aaaaahhhh.

"Dear Pupils

Attached are the holiday assignments for the various topics which the teachers feel that you should practise on.

Please DO NOT wait until the last day to start doing. Please space out the assignments. Attempt about 3 to 4 questions (should take you about half an hour to an hour's time) per day. It will do you GOOD!

Please split up your work according to the topics as well so that it is easier for your teachers to categorize before marking.

You are also reminded that there will be a test on Integration and its Applications on the first week of Term 3. Thus, you should make full use of this holiday to catch up on this topic as well as others which you did not do too well.

Thank you and have a fruitful rest! :)"

For the record, there are 6 assignments attached.

Ha. Ha. Ha.

Well.

Very long time since I last posted...

I either don't have time/feel lazy to update these days. @_@

What to say...well, Distant Worlds came and went. Got Uematsu-sama's autograph on my Reunion Files book. And Arnie Roth's, too. Heh.

I just got Drake a Nissan Skyline GTR model and he absolutely adores it. XD

We went cycling on Sun. I want to go to AMK Hub to play Taiko with him lulz.

My grades suck. Really badly. Oh noes.

June hols are nothing but work. At least I have no CCA WOOHOO.

I got 3rd place (there were 3 3rd places, 3 2nd places and so on) in a CHINESE COMPETION involving 演讲,表演 and 回答问题. I beat SH. OMGWTFLOLBBQ11

Xi Jing's coming over next Mon. We shall watch Byousoku 5cm, read manga and slack. Yayz.

I actually want to take GP. I know I'm weird.

And Geog, even though I shall fail very badly at it since I stopped taking it in sec 2.

I HATE CHEM AND CHINESE AND MATHS AND PHYSICS BLEARGH.

Well. Haven't blogged for a long time. I want Year 4 to be over quickly so I can enter JC and stop taking Physics, Chem and (HOPEFULLY) chinese.

Random funny thing by Jess:

"Picture this: You've been holed up in your room in front of your triple-monitor setup, 3 game consoles, 2 handhelds and a 5.1 surround sound system from 4i3 for twelve days straight with no intention of stopping. Sound familiar? Well, what you need is iSugi! iSugi understands your need to have no life, and with its Intelligent Game Over system, only notifies you with a buzzer when you're at that critical point in your game where one button press could send you spiralling to your death. After your character has died for the tenth time, iSugi brings you out into the real world (goodness, is that sunlight on your face?) and tells you to exercise in the kindest way possible. iSugi. The otaku's #1 choice for preventing you from getting stuck - literally - to your tech toys."

I suppose it's referring to the fact that I actually both game/watch anime and exercise. =O

-

NOBUO UEMATSU COMING TO SINGAPORE FOR DISTANT WORLDS. 20MIN Q&A AFTER EACH CONCERT.

I might very well be like just one row behind him, considering I have Cat 1 tix. XD I shall stalk him and get him to autograph my Advent Children/FFX discs!

THERE WILL BE AFA09!

Hope they bring in awesome seiyuus. And I shall blow $200 again.

METAL GEAR SOLID COMPOSER COMING TO SINGAPORE FOR VIDEO GAMES LIVE!

Fine, so I haven't actually played any of the MGS games. XD I do know they're extremely famous, though. And that MGS3 is being sold at AMK central for $29. Maybe I should get it.

-

Level camp coming up soon. I shall read books lots. Kayaking and mountain-climbing FTW!

Work completed (not necessarily by me XD) over the hols thus far:

- LA paper
- Portfolio
- Physics assignments
- Physics Journal
- 1 Maths assignment (still got one more DD:)
- Bio summary
- Bio prac worksheet
- Jian Bao

Not bad when SCMUN, spanning three full days, including the extra time spent on resos, is taken into account. And I even managed to find time to watch DMC yesterday. XD

Of course, seeing that I haven't actually studied for either the Maths or Bio test, I'm screwed for both of them. But whatever. I'll do ting xie later and get some studying done. And WATCH SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE. ><

SCMUN 2009 was...well, a first. Met lots of crazy and weird people, got a hell lot of stress because of it and had a great deal of fun. XD

Dilys and Jun Lei, you guys were extremely scary but awesome directors. Wanda and Mona as well. Thanks for passing all our notes without complaint. XD

Kevin, thanks for being an awesome deskmate. It was fun passing random notes to you and hoping the directors wouldn't notice. XD

Team Germany, you guys were great to work with. Pity Yiping and Ke Wei couldn't attend D&D though. Would've been even more fun. And thanks a lot for sabo-ing me both during the Crisis and during SNL. -.-

Rohan Shah, you are a freaking awesome speaker. I was applauding every time you finished a speech. XD

And Sudanese girl in golden dress, thanks for crazying with me during D&D. Sure made things a lot more fun. XD

Got my first taste of partying during D&D. I must say I have quite an appetite for dancing...though whether I can actually dance in the first place is another story altogether, of course.

I MISS SCMUN 2009. I WANNA GO FOR RMUN BUT DHS NEVER TOLD US ABOUT IT. *sob*

*goes off to watch Kuroshitsuji ep 13 before starting on ting xie*

I'm camping at the Plaza Sing Starbucks with Drake's laptop. Got a power point. ^^

I was at the AMK macs earlier. I finished the rest of my History SBQ essay in slightly more than an hour, meaning that I only took about 90min to spit out 1109 words. Might be one of the shortest times in which I've written that much lol.

I suppose I'll continue doing my Physics journal later...or start on LA. Or CME. Meh.

I think I'll watch Slumdog Millionaire when I get home later. Yasi says it's good. :D

Two years...

I can scarcely believe it, myself. How quickly time passes. And how so many things can change.

I've tried my best since then. And this is where I've ended up.

I suppose I should be proud.

EDIT: Me outside SCGS^^

Photobucket

Stuff:

1) Gong Han
2) Mo Xie
3) History SBQ
4) Maths assignment
5) Physics test
6) Maths test
7) LA project
8) ACE presentation
9) More MUN preparation

Right. I'm screwed. Nothing new, though. -.-

In any case, I really have to thank Drake for helping me do research for MUN. I have no idea what I would''ve done otherwise. (Stayed up until 2+ throughout the week, I suppose.)

Well, yesterday at SCGS was...pretty ok. Wearing the blazer was bloody hot, of course. Meh.

My presentation got cut short. >< I was rambling on about Angela Merkel when the directors went, "Delegate, you have one minute left". So I just cut short, rushed over organ transplantation, and...yeah. I knew a four-page script for a five-minute presentation was definitely too long. ><

Apart from that, though, I had a fun time chatting with the EcoSoc2 people and Dilys. The funniest part was when I started handing out the namecards I'd made at 1am that morning; I was feeling pretty smug when everyone went "OMG YOU ACTUALLY MADE THEM" and started making their own on the spot. XD

Headed over to Drake's place after that, where I proceeded to finish up my bio worksheet and labouriously translate my Mo Xie list. -.- Watched The Nightmare Before Christmas after that. Can't believe it was done in 1993; it looks so...imba. XD

He even gave me his FFX game and 2 Umbreon figurines. :DD And he still insists on paying for EVERYTHING every time we go out. Makes me feel like a complete prick. -.-

Finally, DMC MOVIE IN SG ON MARCH 19, according to Double. It'll probably be M18, though...but I could just head to an ulu cinema with Drake. XD

Jess: So what's he like
Me: Well, he's really supportive.^^
Jess: omg that sounds like what people say about their spouses in the newspapers

@__@

Meh. It's true, though. :D

Well...it's been one heck of a busy week. I hate the Sciences (excluding bio) and Chinese. Bleh.

Last Saturday-Sunday: Chalet. A pretty big group turned up. Was exhausted at the end of the shoot. Stayed up until 3am playing Warriors Orochi lulz. On a school week, too. (I am a bad bad student...)

Had history essay to chiong during the week, as well as the endless deluge of Chinese homework and crap like the Bio test. Speaking of which, Chem is in two days' time. Aaaahhh.

On a better note, I will be taking part in the model UN conference at SCGS during the March hols! :D Kewei and I really wanted to team up with Subin and Nicole, but since groups of 5-6 were required...we went with the 4 4H girls and they went with the 3 4B guys. (They're seriously GG. The 4B guys include Han Lin and Zhi Kang, who rank among the top slackers in the level. -_-")

I spent Valentine's Day doing jianbao and Chem. -_-" But I did meet Drake (if you're reading this: ok if I reveal your name?) for dinner after Jap class. He got me this really cute dolphin from Comics Connection...though I seriously wonder how I'm going to explain it to my mom, since I never ever buy stuff like that. But thanks a lot, anyhows. :D

Had a proper outing yesterday. We had lunch at Plaza Sing, went to the arcade, walked around, watched Valkyrie and trudged through Fort Canning later (because we couldn't think of anything better to do ^^;). Drake insisted on paying for everything, as usual...(I swear, you'll bankrupt yourself soon enough.) And I've discovered that Silent Hill has much better value-for-money than HotD4; looks like I've been permanently converted. XD

Lots of stuff I wanna to together: anime karaoke, cycling, HSBC treetop walk...hopefully I can find the time, ne? ^^

(Before the main post itself: Joel, Raphael, I saw your pics in the Sunday Times. Good to see you guys are doing well. Good luck for your upcoming competitions and keep our flame burning bright. I'll always remember you guys and everyone else.)

It's amazing how quickly life can change in a few days, or even in just a few hours.

So much has happened over the past few days.

I'll start with Friday, when I went to watch RCII (again XD) with XJ.

Well, 'tis a good thing there's a credits scene at the beginning, because we rushed into the cinema about 5 min late lol. The show ended at about 6pm, after which we had dinner.

It's funny how we always end up discussing current affairs/general knowledge lulz. We were also talking about the countries we want to visit; we both agree that China is an awesome place. XD We then camped outside the mrt station for about half an hour and I showed her Warriors Orochi - we were comparing the RCII characters to their WO counterparts lol.

As always, I had a good time. It's always great chatting with her. Here's hoping we meet up again during, say, the June hols! :D

HUMANITIES FIELD TRIP TO JAPAN CANCELED. NUUUU~~~

I am extremely sad. T.T

Still, though, Deen and I still plan to work on a documentary...albeit on Sekigahara instead. (You can guess who suggested the change in topic. XD) We'd probably only have time for it during the June hols, but that should be enough. I was thinking that we could incorporate SW videos and gameplay into it...XD

I'm watching RCII (again) with XJ this Friday! And chalet photoshoot this weekend :DD
